Airlines check whether you appear eligible to enter your destination and transit points, but the traveller remains responsible for carrying the correct documents. Requirements depend on nationality, residence, route and purpose of travel.

01

Core documents

Check passport validity, blank-page requirements and whether the name on every booking exactly matches the travel document.

  • Passport and any required visa or entry authorisation
  • Return or onward travel evidence where required
  • Accommodation and contact details
  • Travel insurance and health documents when applicable
02

Transit and family considerations

A transit visa may be required even when you do not plan to leave the airport. Children may also need birth certificates, consent letters or other supporting documents depending on who is travelling with them.

03

Use official sources before departure

Entry rules change. Reconfirm with the destination and transit-country authorities, the operating airline and a qualified visa specialist before purchasing non-refundable services.
