Introduction


Aims to provide detailed understanding and basic for Seri Mechan Travel (M) Sdn. Bhd. a company incorporated in Malaysia to undertake the services of a cargo and PSA (Passenger Sales Agent) for BIMAN BANGLADESH AIRLINES (BG), GMG AIRLINES (Z5), THAI AIRWAYS (TG) EMIRATES AIRLINES (EK) and MALAYSIA AIRLINES (MH) in Malaysia.

With increasing bilateral trade between Bangladesh and Malaysia, and the strategic importance of keeping both countries enjoying the development of trade and other Industrial and commercial activities, it is most timely that supports by way of logistics and other ancillary services shall now be given due importance, as this will surely enhance the overall trade between the two countries.

One of the key features in the program is the enviable tasks of upgrading tickets and cargo services, introduce new product and add value in marketing and promotion exercise, thus expanding the scope and capacities of BIMAN BANGLADESH AIRLINES (BG), GMG AIRLINES (Z5), THAI AIRWAYS (TG) EMIRATES AIRLINES (EK) and MALAYSIA AIRLINES (MH).

Our Business Proposal

Seri Mechan Travel (M) Sdn. Bhd. upon its successful appointment as PSA (Passenger Sales Agent) for BIMAN BANGLADESH AIRLINES (BG), GMG AIRLINES (Z5), THAI AIRWAYS (TG) EMIRATES AIRLINES (EK) and MALAYSIA AIRLINES (MH), shall take immediate steps as follows:

  • Review existing business policies/operations currently handled by other agent.
  • Identify shortfalls (if any) and take action immediately.
  • Assist in image building and market positioning.
  • Develop, promote and market the airline’s product using the most effective and cost efficient method.
  • Assist in appointing main agents in the region to promote sales and monitor performance.
  • Assist in the distribution of pricing list and ensure sales are sustainable.
  • Provides management report on sales return, performance etc.
  • Provides customer information checklist and profile.

Participant in corporate program of BIMAN BANGLADESH AIRLINES (BG), GMG AIRLINES (Z5), THAI AIRWAYS (TG) EMIRATES AIRLINES (EK) and MALAYSIA AIRLINES (MH) to enhance overall services level.

Intermediate and Long Term Goal

In both the intermediate and long term, our objectives will be very focused – to reaffirm the market positioning of BIMAN BANGLADESH AIRLINES (BG), GMG AIRLINES (Z5), THAI AIRWAYS (TG) EMIRATES AIRLINES (EK) and MALAYSIA AIRLINES (MH) in the region and gaining bigger market share in the regional and international front. The following scenarios shall be considered:

  • To achieve, maintain and improve high standard operating procedures.
  • To re–affirm new market positioning and market acceptance.
  • To carve a niche market in East Asia, South Asia and other preferred routes and destinations.
  • To achieve and maintain between a minimum ten percent incremental yearly volume for tickets and cargoes.
  • To be the preferred carrier for selective destination

Sales and marketing:

Seri Mechan travel will develop a high sense of awareness in its marketing program which incorporate the following parameters:

  • Regular sales visits to ticketing and cargo agents and commercial accounts.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate ticket and cargo rates to compete in the market place.
  • Develop sales drive and solicit AIRLINES air products and services with primary targets on traffic to Bangladesh and beyond.
  • Initiate regular promotional plans and submit feedback of market trends and opportunities.
  • Promote interlines sales on AIRLINES.
  • Maintain close relationship with government and aviation authorities
